MEN'S MINISTRY

BE WATCHFUL, STAND FIRM IN THE FAITH, ACT LIKE MEN, BE STRONG.

1 Corinthians 16:13

Some of the men get together 6am on Thursday morning at the church for prayer.  Also, others gather during the month in a larger group for prayer, fellowship lunch meal, special focus study, or guest speaker.

FELLOWSHIP GROUPS

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

Fellowship Groups (FSG) provide a deliberate context for mutual growth and encouragement that serves to build up the church in ways that cannot be accomplished on Sunday mornings alone (Acts 2:42-46, Ephesians 4:16, Hebrews 3:13).  If you would like to participate, please click the email button above.

Each group is led by a facilitator that hosts the meeting. The facilitator’s primary role is to assist the group by  encouraging participation and discussion in keeping with the subject matter, and closing the meeting according to schedule. This is not a teaching role, but one that helps keep the overall purpose in view.

We ask each group to meet a minimum of once a month. This meeting may be done at the facilitator’s home or a location agreed upon by the group. We suggest the following activities for each group to decide what to do:
  • Have a time of prayer together.
  • Study a book on Christian Living (Currently,  “Gentle and Lowly” by Dane Ortlund).
  • Review, examine, and apply Sunday’s sermon.
  • Have an inductive study on a book of the Bible.
